Allen Dewayne Mason, known affectionately as Wayne to his friends and family, passed away peacefully on September 24, 2025, in his hometown of Dublin, where he was also born on March 6, 1967. Wayne's life was a testament to the enduring power of love, hard work, and the simple pleasures that make life worth living.
Wayne was predeceased by his father, Allen Mason, and is survived by his devoted mother, Elaine Young Mason of Dublin. He leaves behind his wife, Robyn Reeves Mason; sons, Ryan Mason of Dickinson, ND, and Dylan Mason of Dublin; daughter, Brayleigh Mason of Dublin; and step-son, Brian Reeves (Brooke Crosby) of Lizella; and grandchildren, Haisley Mason, Kameron Mason, and Aubrilla Mendoza. His aunt, Caroline Sanders, and his loyal dog, Scooby, also survive him.
Wayne was renowned for his skills as an electrician, a trade where he not only excelled but also served as a mentor to many. His colleagues will remember him for his dedication, expertise, and the camaraderie he brought to every project.
A man of many interests, Wayne cherished the moments spent with his family above all. He found solace in the great outdoors, whether it was a leisurely walk in nature, spending time at the creek fishing, or engaging in a friendly game of horseshoes. Music was another of Wayne's passions, and he could often be found listening to his favorite tunes, which brought him immense joy and comfort.
Wayne's life story is one of unwavering commitment to his loved ones and the pursuit of happiness in life's simplest pleasures. His memory will be forever cherished in the hearts of those who knew him, and his legacy will live on through the lives of his family and the countless people he touched with his warm spirit and generous heart.
As we bid farewell to Wayne, we celebrate a life well-lived, full of love, laughter, and the creation of cherished memories. His presence will be sorely missed, but the impact of his life's work and the love he shared with us all will continue to resonate for generations to come.
