William James Forrister

William James Forrister, age 75, of Adrian, GA, passed away on Friday, October 28, 2022.

Mr. Forrister was an educator, retiring from the Montana public school system. He was a member of the Garden of Prayer Assembly of God. He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Cisco Forrister; parents, William James Franklin Forrister and Ruby Kennedy Forrister.

Survivors include his son, Jason Forrister of Renton, WA; stepdaughter, Linda (John) Stansfield of Wichita, KS and step-son, Stephen (Cathy) Suss of Jacksonville, FL, and their children and grandchildren; siblings, Mary Williams (Arlo) of Jacksonville, FL, Brenda Fones (Walter) of Nahunta, GA, Rebecca Warren of Jesup, GA, Daniel Forrister (Tammy) of Nahunta, GA, Lamar Forrister of Oklahoma, Weltha K. Cannon of Ocoee, FL, Barbara Carbee (Dino) of Australia, Richard Forrister of Nahunta, GA, and Clinton Forrister of Nahunta, GA, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, November 2, 2022, at Dublin Memorial Gardens. Rev. Bobby Miller will officiate.
