William E. Preston

Mr. William E. Preston, age 74, passed away at home on Sunday, November 10, 2024.

Mr. Preston was born in Columbus, Ohio on October 12, 1950. He was preceded in death by his parents, the late Dorwin S. Preston and Norma Jean Osborne Preston; his son, Adam J. Preston; a brother, David S. Preston; his father-in-law, Oscar Sims and his mother-in-law, Mae Sims. He was a member of the Dublin First Church of the Nazarene where he was active in the Friendship Sunday School class, the church choir, and the Upward Sports program. He was retired as a stockbroker.

He is survived by his wife, Sue A. Preston of Dublin; a son, Patrick E. (Lisa) Preston of Navarre, FL; two daughters, Jennifer L. Preston Smith of Plainfield, Ohio and Amy M. Preston Wilson of Pensacola, FL; grandchildren, Savannah A. Owens and Hunter L. Owens both of Dublin; daughter-in-law, Christy (David Owens of Dublin; and cousins, Deborah and Carl Merendo of Port Clinton, Ohio.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at the First Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Don Hicks officiating. Burial will follow at Graham Memorial Church of the Nazarene Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. at the church.

Pallbearers will be David Owens, Hunter Owens, Richard Kinzler, Patrick Preston, Rev. Mike Smith, and Rev. Brad Poucher.
