Services for William “Bill” Allen Agee, age 77, will be held Saturday, January 6, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Pine Forest Church with interment to follow at Dublin Memorial Gardens. Rev. Brett Maddocks will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Mr. Agee was born in Cairo, Georgia on August 4, 1946 to the late James Alexander Agee and the late Myrtice Christine Brown Agee. He graduated from Berrien High School in Nashville, Georgia and continued his education by attending Valdosta State University. After obtaining his pre-pharmacy degree, he continued by attending the University of Georgia where he received his Master’s Degree in Pharmacy. He then worked for the Carl Vinson VA Medical Center as a pharmacist for 30 years.
Bill was a member of Pine Forest Church for 45 years. He was a past member of the Augusta Shrine and Masons Club. In his spare time, he enjoyed working with computers. He was a do-it-yourself guy and was always finding something to fix around the house. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He passed away Thursday, December 28, 2023.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, James Alexander Agee, and sister, Mitylene Cleghorn.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of 56 years, Jane Fountain Agee of Dublin; son, Scott Alexander Agee (Angie) of Charleston, SC; daughter, Shannon Curcio (Fred) of Savannah; a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Marilyn Moore of Nichols, GA; and several nieces and nephews.
