Wilmer Henry “Pete” Frost went to his heavenly home on Friday, September 18, 2020.
Mr. Frost was born on May 6, 1937, to the late John Clinton and Maudie Lee Frost. He was of the Primitive Baptist faith and served as a deacon and song leader of Bethel Primitive Baptist Church for many years. He loved his Lord, his family, and his friends. He was always ready with a corny joke to make you laugh or a beautiful hymn or song on his harmonica to make you smile and possibly shed a tear.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Frost was preceded in death by his brother, Howard Frost.
He leaves to cherish his memory: brothers; Johnny “Doc”, Bryson (Alma), Gene (Rosa), William (Nancy), Franklin (Joyce), and Jimmy (Ann), sisters; Doris “Wynelle” and Frances; children, Faith (Wayne), Hope (Todd), Steven (Tawaina), and their mother Rose Barton; Will (Lauren) and his mother, Karen Collins; grandchildren: Dusty (Nicole), Autumn, Collin, Melissa, Mason “Maci”, Michael, and soon to arrive Banner; great-grandchildren: Chloe and Aubrey and several nieces and nephews.
Thank you so very much to Southland and Fairview Park Hospital for the loving care and support given to our loved one.
Graveside services for Mr. Frost will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, September 20, 2020, at Dublin Memorial Gardens. Elder Stephen Dyar will officiate. Townsend Brothers Funeral Home and Staff respectfully ask all in attendance to follow social distancing guidelines.
