Winifred Clarence Reese

Mr. Winifred Clarence Reese, age 75, of Wrightsville passed away Friday, November 19, 2021, at his home.  Mr. Reese was a member and Deacon at Ivey Baptist Church. He was a Scout Master for Troup 61 BSA. He worked at Imerys for 36 years and was an Accomplished Tradesman, Diesel Mechanic, Industrial Electrician, farmer, and Industrial Mechanic. He was known to many as Grandpa and was very proud to be a dedicated husband, father, and grandfather who loved all his family. 

Mr. Reese was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer C. Reese and Bessie Foster Reese, brothers Wade Reese, Richard Reese, sisters, Geneva Reardon and Verma Dietrich.

Survivors include his wife, Lillie Reese of Wrightsville; sons, Winifred “Fred” Reese Jr. (Stephanie) of Wrightsville, and Stacy Reese of Augusta; grandchildren, Amber Wilkes, Ethan Reese (Julie),  Shania Reese, Christopher Reese, Geoffrey Reese; great-grandchildren, Aily Wilkes, Ezra Wilkes, siblings, Dorothy Rucker, Mildred Smith, Doyce Lumley, and Joyce Greene

Services will be held at 3:00 Tuesday, November 23, 2021, at Ivey Baptist Church, in Johnson Co., with burial in the church cemetery. Rev Curtis Warnock and Rev. Donnie Baker will officiate. Visitation will be in Ivey Baptist Church Tuesday from 2 PM until 3 PM.

Donnie Roberts, Danny Reese, Scott Price, Ronald Wilkerson, Dave Hinson, and Jed Moen will serve as pallbearers.
