Wyolene (Mallory) Sellers

Agnes Wyolene Mallory-Sellers passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2020. Wyolene was living at Addington House in Dublin. She enjoyed her time with the friends she made while there.

Wyolene was the oldest child of Mattie Burson Mallory and Agnes Lucille Lord-Mallory. She was born in Dublin, Georgia and was 85 years of age at the time of her passing.

In 1952, Wyolene married Lance James Garrett, and they had 3 children. In 1963, she married Henry Clayton “H.C.” Sellers with whom she had a daughter. She lived most of her adult life in Florida. Wyolene was raised in the Baptist faith. Wyolene loved making crafts, hunting, fishing and maintaining a small garden. She loved and was loved by her family and many friends.

Wyolene was preceded in death by her husband H. C. Sellers, her father and mother, her brother Jack (Donna) Mallory, of Cordele, Georgia, and her sister Jacquelyn Mallory-Coleman of Roane County, Tennessee.

Wyolene is survived by her daughter Ann (Donnie) Garrett-James of Roswell, Georgia; son Lance (Sharon) Garrett, Jr. of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina; son David (Sherry) Garrett of Orlando, Florida; and daughter Carlene Marie (Robert) Sellers-Dornbush of Rentz, Georgia.  Wyolene is also survived by her brothers Ferrell (Kathy) Mallory of Orem, Utah; Victor (Patricia) Mallory of Warner Robins, Georgia; sister Janice (Charles) Mallory-Nipper of Dublin, Georgia; as well as seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, many nephews, nieces, great-nephews, and great-nieces.

The family is extremely grateful for the care and support Wyolene received while living at Addington House.

Services will be held Saturday at 1:00 PM, at Townsend Funeral Home with interment at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Rentz, Georgia.
