I did not realize Mr.Padgett passed away. I am the Granddaughter of a veteran that served with him during World War 2. I wrote to Mr.Padgett and spoke to him on the phone briefly regarding his service. I sent him photos of my Grandfather, and by some twist of fate, he kindly informed me he was one of the men in the photo I sent him. I could not believe it. I am greatly saddened by his passing. I am honored to have known him, even if it was only through a letter and a phone call, but their stories should never be forgotten, and I will always remember him. Rest in Peace.

My deepest condolences to William's family and friends for your loss. Almighty God hates death,he views it as a enemy. 1 Corinthians 15:26. He has a longing to conquer that enemy to undo death by means of the resurrection. He yearns to bring back those in His memory and see them live on earth again. Job 14:14,15.
